Thrush is yeast in the mouth. I have had it. Clotrimazole is an antiyeast I have taken...no problems.

    Good luck, sweetie,

I have taken clotrimazole many many times for thrush. Doctors prefer this or nystatin as it doesn't affect the liver. Unfortunately, neither one helped me and I have been off and on Difulcan for 1 year, with the last two rounds being at 30 days at a time. I will be taking my last pill this go round on Friday, so we will see what happens. I have had my liver functions checked and they are ok. Just wish I could get completely rid of this stuff.

    Good luck!!
