Well, I didn't win, but did fairly respectably. All 5 stock portfolios in the top 10% with two at top 0.2%, and one at 1.2% and another at 3.2% level. With about 500,000 portofolios competing, figure I did pretty good.

Sic Transit Gloria= how quickly glory passes

Unfortunately, there were 805 rotten, greedy, speculating, capitalist pig portolios ahead of my deserving self!!

I almost (almost!) feel sorry the 20 finalists who get to compete over the next two weeks for $300,000 and $200,000 and 100,000 prizes. I would imagine that they would get very, very frazzled in the contest.

Anyhow, maybe next year I'll be able to seriously take on the Big

    Cheers, Your Mr Bill

Congratulations on your astute investing. Am I correct that the winnings in this
competition are reminiscent of that old song, "It was only a paper moon, sailing
over a cardboard sea, but it wouldn't be make believe..."?

Are you sure about that Greek translation? I always thought it meant
"See Gloria get on the bus."

Well, I hope you and Gloria and your five little portfolios live happily ever
after. Best of luck in next year's competition.
