    This one is too easy....
    1 shoulder pork roast
    garlic salt
    large jar of sauerkraut
You put the roast in the crockpot, salt it and cover it with the kraut. Cook on high for 2 hours, then low for 5 or 6 more hours. Serve with mashed potatoes.
    Yum!

I made up this recipe a few years back and found it great for big appetites (growing boys)

    Mince
Canned/bottled of any tomato based pasta sauce
    Garlic
    Salt and pepper
    Mixed herbs
    Macaroni
    Tin baked beans

Dry fry mince add sauce, garlic, salt, pepper and mixed herbs and cook either in the micro or on the stove.

Add macaroni (I only use half a box) and add alot of water as the macaroni uses it up. If it gets too dry add more water and add more salt and pepper if necessary. Cook for about 20 min or until pasta is cooked.

Add baked beans mix well and eat.

    Enjoy

The Hawaiian Dinner and the Cranberry Chicken are very easy. The Mexican Taters and Beans is delicious but it does take more time to prepare.

    HAWAIIAN DINNER

    1 pound ground beef
    1 chopped onion

mix together and make into small meatballs. Brown in frying pan.

    In casserole mix the following:

    1 can kidney beans
    1 can pork and beans
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c ketchup
    1 tbsp. vinegar
    2 tbsp. brown sugar

Add 1/2 can pineapple cubes and some of the juice. Arrange meatballs on top and bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.

    .......................................................................................................................

    MEXICAN TATERS AND BEANS

6 cups sliced cooked peeled potatoes
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cups salsa
2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    6 slices Monterey Jack Cheese
    6 slices cheddar cheese
2 cans (15 oz each) chili with beans
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
    1 cup crushed tortilla chips

Place potatoes in the bottom of a greased 13x9 baking dish. Sprinkle with onion. Add potatoes. Mix Salsa and butter. Pour over onion and potatoes. Top with sliced cheeses; spread with chili. Sprinkle shredded cheeses over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Sprinkle with chips just before serving. Makes 10-12 servings.

    .........................................................................................................................

    Oven Hashbrowns

    1 small bag of hashbrowns
    1/2 cup chopped onions
1 can of cream of celery, mushroom or chicken soup
    1 cup sour cream
    1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Mix together and add 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 or 2 cups crushed cornflakes.
Put in casserole and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

    ........................................................................................................................

CRANBERRY CHICKEN (One of my favorites)

1 1/2 to 2 pounds chicken (boneless and skinless) (I use chicken breasts)
1 can (16 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce
1 bottle (8 oz) of French, Thousand or Catalina salad dressing (I like it best with the Catalina dressing)
1 package of dried onion soup mix.

Mix cranberries, dressing and soup mix in crockpot and then add chicken and make sure it is coated.
Cook on low setting for 8 hours. Mmmmmm!!

Can also use pork chops in place of chicken.

great over rice, noodles or potatoes.

Can also be done in the oven.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange chicken in a 0x13 baking pan. In a medium bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients. Pour mixture over the chicken and bake, 45 minutes for boneless chicken. or 1 hour for bone in chicken.
