    What is this?

I started Nature's Secret Ultimate Cleanse on Monday. In my previous posts you may have seen that I started this because of the connection of the bowel and the brain...My UC has acted up again and my fog has been dangerous to myself and others...

Since Monday I haven't had the need, want or "urge" to eat..No chocolate "fixes" either!

Has anyone had the same or similar experience?

Is it possible my body is getting what it needs to survive and doesn't WANT anything else? If so, I am sticking with this cleanse just for this benefit...

FYI, my UC has settled down as of yesterday...

I just happened to read a post from fairydust39, which she shared her UC experience...Imagine, our docs NOT recommending cleanses first and foremost...Only drugs, drugs and more drugs!

I am hoping all of my research has finally led me to a "cure", will keep you updated!

If I could dance without hurting more, I would...For now, I'll let the little smiley faced guy do it for me...YAY!

I'm a recent convert to natures secret products...never done the cleanse, though. Looking forward to that, but wanted to add supplements and herbals gradually so as to reduce the "visable effect" of cleansing. Don't be surprised if your skin breaks out like mad, or even if you get some rashes or dandruff like symptoms...I've done natural cleanses (though never that one) in the past, and that is almost inevitable side effect. Often you even feel a little flu-ey for a day or 2.

I'm very much into natures secret liquid extracts of herbals and supplements. The absorbtion level is MUCH higher than that of a capsule, and they tend to be much cheaper.

I don't know if there's any correlation whatsoever, but I've been using a few natures secret liquid extracts for last 3 weeks or so, plus some natural flaxseed (which also has a colon cleansing effect...but much less than a full cleanse)...I've literally forgotten to eat for days on end, since then. If you knew me, you'd know how insanely uncharacteristic that is for me...I'm usually just a chow hound! LOL...but it is kindof a neat side effect. Just a small warning though...make sure you do eat a bit...set an alarm or something if you forget. I had much stronger than usual side effects from meds as my stomach was so empty! Digging the "almost into my skinny jeans" aspect, though. Of course, I'm so dang tender I can't really wear jeans, but hey...still a source of pride! lol

    Good luck!

Hi, my name is Evelyn. I'm new to Fibromyalgia (as of 2 months ago) and the first time I go to a message board, so please forgive some of my questions. I read about the Colon Cleanse and it's results but I did not undestand it completely. Was this a response to a previous posting where it explains it? If so, can you direct me to the initial explanation? What is Nature's Secret Ultimate Cleanse, and where can I get it?
The dx was told to me by a reuhmatologist, my biggest complaint is body ache, lot's of the time the pain is intense. The foggy brain is also an issue, before I though I was having serious cognitive problems.
Please let me know where I can find this info and any other suggestions you may want to share.
I thank all the people that take the time to share the good and the bad.

    Welcome to our sanctuary...

I am new to the board but a 10+year sufferer from these DD's...See my profile if you'd like...

The first thing I would recommend is researching COLON CLEANSE on this board for previous posts, I have learned more that way...

Ultimate Cleanse can be purchased thru this site as well as many health food stores (where I got mine)

I just started mine Monday so I will be posting my progress...

I think most on this board would recommend consulting with your docs before trying most new products...I, however, am not in the habit of calling my docs for anything lately, especially for advice on what to do that's good for me...Like someone else posted, we have been battling UC for years and ALL of docs have never mentioned this cleanse before, but they don't hesitate to mention all the new drugs, specialists in the area, blah, blah, blah...Sorry, being cynical towards the medical field again...

Just research, chat on this board and get as much info as you can...You will notice that many of us can share what has worked for us, but it may not help others...We won't know unless we try!

    Ciao for now~Alicia

Alicia, thank you for your response and suggestions. I will attempt to do the search, I'm not too technical. Will let you know how it develops.
    Thanks again.

    Hi Lynn,

So far for me my UC has cleared up and beiing I recently stopped my doc prescribed med ASACOL for it (that needs to be close to a toidy all the time) I am not feeling the "urge" to go like I normally do...

I just upped the dose to 2 pills in the am and 2 in the pm, so tomorrow may be a different story, but I am feeling pretty good today...YAY!

Oh shoot, I said it many have been thru, once you start feeling good, look above, here comes the house falling in on my head...Okay, will think more positively...haha

Did a two week fast/colon cleanse with advice from my nutritionalist. i sued tablets called Co-ton: cannot find 'em on the net for some reason, anyway, the pills seemed to remove all the plaque and stuff. I felt great while on the fast, but it does not provide a quick cure. However, i feel really good about myself now, and make sure that i eat the right foods in the right combination, via the food combining diet.
