Confused about difference FMS/CFS

    Is there really any difference between these two? I think I have FMS because of my all my tender points throughout my body but I also have fatigue, but not extreme fatigue. But I also read that with CFS you can have muscle pains too.

    What makes these two illnesses different?

    Thanks for the info. This board is really a life saver for me.

    CFS and FM overlap so much, as far as I can see, that it's better just to get on with treating the symptoms rather than looking for the Holy Grail.

    FM is more vague than CFS. I reckon people, like me, have FM but never get diagnosed with it because they don't score the required number of points! Instead they get diagnosed with CF "with pain".

    If it helps, I can tell you that Guai helps me, as does LDN, hyperbaric oxygen and reflexology.

    Currently, I'm looking into the Marshall and Myhill protocols.
