My daughter has been diagnosed ANA positive for a little more than a year. Just over the last week we spent time in Florida and now I've just noticed a rash in my genitals that could be the start of genital herpes (I really don't have any idea what else it could be). I know the viruses are similar, but I don't know if her outbreak could be tranmitted to me so quickly and if it is even possible. We don't and didn't share anything that I'm aware of that could have transmitted the virus.

I'm grasping at straws, can anyone help?

it may only be chafing, vaginal yeast infection, vagional bacterial infection, trichomonsis, maybe shingles,,,,i got shingles on my bum...not herpes..

but go get it checked out...if it were herpes it would be burning, and blisters,,,it is sexually transmitted disease..search it on the web...it will show pics usually...i've done that for sex education for my son...
