Will someone please share there cornbread stuffing/dressing recipe with me??

I would very much appreciate it.

Do you stuff your Turkeys, or cook separately??

Kim, is it fairly easy? I would love to try it, i've never really liked my moms with rasins in it.

Sshhhh don't tell her, she is a good cook.

Would love to try something different, and sausage has to be better than raisins!!

I PROMISE I won't tell your mom! hee hee!

I believe this is fairly easy. Other than frying the sausage, and some cutting; it's not bad!

This is by far, everyone's favorite in my family! Here goes....
    Cornbread and Sausage Stuffing

1 lb. Pork Sausage (Jimmy Dean, etc.)

    1 c. chopped celery

    1/4 c. chopped onion

5 c. of baked biscuits, crumbled ( One can)

5 c. baked cornbread, crumbled (one box, Jiffy, etc.)

    1 tsp. poultry seasoning

    1/2 tsp. pepper

    2 - 14 1/2 oz. chicken broth (about 4 cups)

Saute sausage, celery and onion. In large bowl, combine sausage mixture and remaining ingredients, blend well. Bake in greased 13x9x2 pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until lightly browned. approx. 10-12 servings

I sit to crumble the biscuits, cornbread, and while chopping veggies. If I'm lucky, my DH will do some of this!

It really is good. If you try it, let me know!

PS.... You are so right! ANYTHING but raisins! LOL
