What does any one use for cramps in the legs? This is not RLS. I have that too. But these are the kind that wake you from a sound sleep. Natural or meds?

    Thanks, Lynn

I learned that I was taking too much magnesium, not enough calcium and potassium. Would get them day and night, but worse at night. So make sure you have the right balence, I'm not exact on what it is.

Put a bar of soap under the bottom sheet near your feet. Not sure why this works but it helped my husband.

    Try it, nothing to lose.

Try a hot bath right before bed.

    soak for 20 minutes
mix in 2 cups epsom salts
and 1 bottle of hydrogen peroxide

Seems to really relax those muscles.

    Take care

I use Safeguard, the same kind I have right in my linen closet. My husband is obese and had cramps in his lower legs all his life. The past two years he has had none, since the soap in the bed. He had to stay in a motel several weekends this spring..... no soap, and he DID get the cramps back.
