It is a form of Osteopathic treatment, when the osteopath thinks that whoever would benefit from Osteopathy, but would not be able to withstand manual therapy, Those who find it to painful to be touched,
I can not really explain exactly how it works,
All I can tell you is that I lay on the couch I have one who works on my head and neck, and one who works on my lower back, I get warmth, and a slight feeling of manipulation, The session lasts for 40 mins, so I am there for about an hour all told I go again on friday, so will ask ask for more detail, and post on site, Delphine

I've had several sessions in Bristol from a man claiming he could cure me. It cost an absolute fortune & I ended up in much worse pain than before. The practitioner then insisted that I wasn't getting better because of the mercury in my teeth. He didn't tell me this before he took my money.

I am sorry you did not find it helpful,at no time has it been suggested to me that it would cure me,only that it would bring down my pain level,
It is I admit expensive, I pay £30 per hour,Is this the same price you paid? Delphine
