Anne, I read your post in the "thank you" thread and it almost brought me to tears.

I don't think it is fair to expect people who are foggy, ill, tired to respond to every post (see my own post in thread).

You have been an encouragement to me and please don't feel bad about anything.

Just a note of support and appreciation! I always glad to
see your Posts and valuable contribution to the site. It's
impossible to response to all the Posts we would like.
Time and energy are a factor. This Website is a "victim"
of it's own success. There are numerous new folks on the
Board everyday. We try to be supportive to eveyone as we
can. A "thanks" is a given even if it is not always ex-

Hope you a having a good day!

You guys. It did make me feel better to hear from you, as I was feeling really overwhelmed. I was about ready to call it a day to be honest. I had a bad morning and week really, let down by a number of people, and I do try so hard to be honest and thoughtful.

It just seemed like one more "rule" and the thing is I am always really polite, so maybe I was just over sensitive.

The heat is bothering me and causing a huge flare. Hey, but thanks. I feel better about myself already.

    Love Anne Cromwell

Can I add my two cents worth here?

Let me tell you that what Anne said in that post took an ENORMOUS amount of weight off my shoulders!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am always so worried about not getting back to people in posts and it actually gives me anxiety.

In the past there have been things said about how people should respond to each individual who took time to reply to a post and although I completely agree with that sometimes I can't do it.

It takes so much out of me when there wasn't much there to begin with!!!! Plus with little guy now I don't have but a few minutes here and few minutes there to come on here.

I would hope that ALL my FRIENDS on this board know how thankful I am for their support and advice and friendship. They have been through the good times and the bad times with me!

So Anne, thank you for the courage to speak out and really set us free from these expectations. The world is full of demanding people and this community is the one place most of us feel we can truly be who we are and not have to push ourselves to unrealistic demands.

She speaks for me also. I have such trouble with concentration and memory. I forget my own post and I have to limit my online time or I get physically sick.

I have always appreciated every one that has answered me. I hope that some people realize that others have severe problems with cognitive issues. Mine is well past brain fog. The frontal portion of my brain is not functioning properly. I do not mean to be rude.

When I start to respond, unless I have made copies of the post, I can not remember who said what. I can only see my original post. It would be helpful to see the whole thread.

They have know idea how many tears and frustration this causes me and I am sure I can not be the only one with this problem. They will never know how many times I have tried to reply but ended up so sick because I could not stay on the computer any longer.

I hear you 100% loud and clear!!!

I don't have any real cognitive problems and even I have trouble remembering who wrote what so believe me I understand!

Something I found helpful but also a lot of trouble was I would open a word document and paste everyone's response and then make my replies in there and then come back here and paste them in my reply but that took too much time and energy.

I don't mean that rude but it just does.

So now what I do is I try my hardest to answer as many as I can with my memory or just make individual replies with the energy and time that I have.

I know that my friends who don't get a response from me understand.

Honora: I do not even know how to copy and paste. I was happy to see Nancymystic post on how to see a thread when you were replying. Sorry you can't use it. I used it to reply now.

katemac329: See post to Honora. Nancymystic told us how to see the thread while we replied. Wonderful news for me.

dncnfngrs: Your real life is your priority. It should be for all of us. Everyone does have a real life and different problems. Actually according to the online class I attempted to take, online exposure should be limited...maybe just to 15 minutes to 30 minutes at a time.It is as stressful to our body and brain as physical work.

Thanks again. I feel validated for speaking up now.

I have always thought I could come here without feeling anxious. You all said it a lot better than I did.

I usually would not be affected, but I already feel some people on another board here have taken it over according to their political stance, so I guess I was very touchy.

And thanks to those who posted on the thread too, I knew I was not alone on this issue. Thanks are always welcome but they should not be a condition of being "acceptable".

Love and peace to all Anne Cromwell

and yes, the weather is horrible. Had to dig into loan to get a new dehumidifier today that was more efficient. I have gotten right back into a flare today, been overdoing things, I see the thyroid specialist tomorrow about that bad nodule, so I guess I am edgy about that. Love you all.

We thank you for all you do. You are definitely not alone. I hope your test goes well.

Too many "Thank yous" will make the board unreadable.

I used to go to a disability board where about half the postings were jokes. No problem there. But then for every joke 5 or 6 people would write: Thank you. That was funny.

So for me the board wasn't of much value.
