I know that normal sugar has a negative immune suppressing affect. Does D-ribose have this quality as well?

I don't have the answer to your question easily accessible but I know that Dr. Teitelbaum's website has a lot of information on d-ribose www.endfatigue.com as well as Dr. Sarah Myhill's website (need to google that one).

Everything I've read says that the supplement is actually something our bodies make but not enough of and doesn't have the same negative consequences as sugar. For example, I read that diabetics can take it as it doesn't affect blood sugar levels.

Hope you find more info. This website might have info., too
