    Psalms 9:1-10

    I will praise you, Lord, with all my
    I will tell all the miracles you have done.
    I will be happy because of you;
    God Most High, I will sing praises to
    your name.

    My enemies turn back;
    they are overwhelmed and die because
    of you.
    You have heard my complaint;
    you sat on your throne and judged by what
    was right.
    You spoke strongly against the foreign nations
    and destroyed the wicked;
    you wiped out their names forever and
    ever. ( some day the names of all disease will be wiped out forever and ever!!)
    The enemy is gone forever!
    you destroyed thier cities;
    no one even remembers them. Praise be to God!

    But the Lord rules forever.
    He sits on His throne to judge,
    and He will judge the world in fairness;
    He will decide what is fair for the nations.

    The Lord defends those who suffer; (yeah)
    He defends them in times of trouble.
    Those who Know the Lord trust Him,
    because He will not leave those who come
    to Him.

    It was these last two verses that really caught my attention! To know Him is to trust Him and trusting is to know He will not leave us!
    How very important to learn to know our God. Not in our head but in our heart!
    Back to relationship again.

    We spend time with people in order to get to know them;
    Spend some time with the Lord tonight.

    I'm really glad that you're putting the Psalms mixed in with other Scriptures. That helps me the best!

    I'm so glad you're doing this - it's really feeding us.

    Plus, your reflections make it come alive to me.

    Thank you!
    Love, JUdy

    I just love the psalms. It lifts me up, and makes me feel like i have wings. Or that i'm under God's wings.

    David was never afraid to cry out to the Lord, in angry, despair, for mercy, in love, and Joy, in worship and adulation.
    Maybe that's why, even with all his sins, God called him a man after My own Heart?
