Today I am considering the things I do, even when no one is looking.

Integrity. Webster's defines it as whole or undivided. That definition really holds true when you consider behavior. Is your behavior the same in public as it is in private? Are you whole and undivided in your behavior? Do you behave the same whether or not someone else is watching you? Someone with integrity is genuine, authentic, honest, and ethical whether they are in a room full of people or behind closed doors.

The truth is that you are never really alone. Sure you may sneak away to somewhere private and shut the door but you can never shut the door on the watchful eye of the Lord. He is right there with you all the time. He knows what you are doing in public and in private and He will reward you for your integrity.

You may not always behave in a way that would exemplify integrity. Now you know that even when you are alone your integrity is evident to the Lord. - Gail Lindsay
