    Today I am considering my diet.

    At the start of the New Year it seems everyone is on a diet. Weight watching has become a National pass time. There are all kinds of diet crazes. Low fat, low carb, the Zone diet, the Atkins diet, you name it and it is out there. It is wise to eat healthy foods and to watch your waistline but what about the rest of you?

    How is your spiritual diet? What exactly are you consuming? In order to stay spiritually healthy you will need to ensure that you are being filled with the Lord. Load up on the Word everyday. Stay on a diet that is high in love, integrity, and humility. Feast on fellowship. Don't skip church or your spirit will soon turn anemic from lack of substance. Stay nourished through prayer. You need a strong spirit to be a warrior for the Lord. Warriors require sustenance and refreshment and Jesus Christ is ready to supply all that you need.

    When we make a daily commitment to pray our soul will grow to glorify the Lord.
