Today I am making plans and acting on them.

Beginnings are always exciting. They mark something new. New things provide a sense of hope and enthusiasm. This is true for new jobs, new relationships, new homes, new babies, and new years. Jesus Christ gave each of us a new beginning when he died so that we may have everlasting life. Are you making the most of your life in Jesus Christ? Are you as excited today as you were when you were new and young in your faith and love for him?

Sometimes new things lose their appeal. They take on a comfortable feeling and are soon taken for granted. Hope and enthusiasm can turn into resentment and complacency unless there is an ongoing effort to maintain respect and honor. This New Year approaches, there is an opportunity to plan for and act on ways to walk closer with Christ and share the gospel with others. There are many who make plans but there are only a few who see them through to completion. As you plan for the year, make Jesus Christ the priority in your life. Take the steps necessary to walk more closely with him each day all through the year. Everything else will fall into place when he is first in your life.

You may have been feeling as though the New Year would be just like the old year. Now you know that you can take action to have the best New Year ever when Christ is the focus of your life. Wishing you a blessed New Year. - Gail Lindsay

Thank You so much Danny for this great post !!

You may not be able to make an instant change in tomorrow's place, time, or situation, but you can make some change about tomorrow within your heart, mind, and soul. The most important change you can ever make about your future comes about in your heart, mind, and soul.
Remember change in our life takes longer if we are going to measure change in physical terms rather than in measuring life in spiritual terms. You can be in the same place tomorrow and have a dramatically new and improved life if you change your heart, mind, and soul by resolving to choose your future.

    Many Blessings to you, Judy <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/17/17_1_22.gif' border=0></a>
