I am remembering Christ as the reason for Christmas.

It’s the holiday season! Mistletoe, holly, reindeer, Santa, tinsel, eggnog, cookies, presents. The list goes on and on. So much to do but so little time. It can be quite overwhelming! If you are not careful you may lose sight of Jesus at Christmas and be seduces into believing that Christmas is about shopping, cooking, decorating, and spending. There are those who see Christmas as the annual opportunity for profitability.

Don’t get carried away by the media and the marketer’s reason for Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season! The holidays aren’t the time to take time from Him but rather to celebrate Him. Spend time this Christmas with Jesus! Worship him, praise him, serve him, yes…come and adore him, Christ the Lord!

You may in the past taken time to celebrate the holidays and spend less time serving, praising, worshipping, and being with Christ. Now you know that Jesus is the reason for the season and is to be at the top of your holiday list. - Gail Lindsay

"Don't be afraid!. I bring you the most joyful news ever announced, and it is for everyone! The Savior - yes, the Messiah, the Lord - has been born tonight in Bethlehem" Luke 2: 10-11

This is so true, There are so many people that only look at material things through Christmas and forget the true meaning of Christmas.
