ANYTIME, ANYPLACE WORSHIP Therefore glorify the LORD in the dawning light. ISAIAH 24:15 It's hard to glorify God while concentrating on shaving or trying to get everyone up and out on time. No one has time for more than the bare essentials at dawn, but the beginning of a new day is a precious gift that should be welcomed and for which we should give thanks. We tend to think of worship as an institutional event, but it doesn't have to be so. You can pray for your children as you pack their lunches or sing a doxology in the shower. Opening the blinds and feeling the sun cross your face can be a religious experience, as can watching your children climb onto the school bus, filled with expectations of a good day. You don't always need a congregation to worship; it's enough that God hears your thanksgiving for this day. Dear Heavenly Father, We do appreciate the blessing of each new day. Make Yourself such a constant presence in our lives that we are able to worship You at any place, in any situation. Amen and Amen.
