Dandled On The Knees Of God

"Therefore, since we have been justified
through faith, we have peace with God
through our LORD Jesus Christ, through Whom
we have gained access by faith into this
grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice
in the hope of God. Not only so, but we
rejoice in our sufferings, because we know
    suffering produces perseverance; perseverance,
character; and character hope." (Romans 5:1-4 NIV)

Can you honestly say that you are rejoicing
in your sufferings and in the hope of God?
For many of us living with chronic illness
and pain has become a struggle and a day to day
challenge, yet we are told to hold fast to
the peace that is ours through our LORD Jesus
Christ. "Easier said then is done," you may say.
However, do you forget that our Savior and
LORD Jesus Christ also struggled? Do you forget
that He suffered more than any other? Yes, Jesus
was and is fully God, but he was also fully man.
Jesus took on the person of a human so we would
have a Savior to identify with.

Are you struggling? Do you find your faith in
God wavering or just hanging on by a thread?
Know O Precious One that you are not alone. God
hears your pleas for help and gently says to you,

"'I will extend peace to (you) like a river and the
wealth of the nations like a flooding stream; you
will be nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled
on her knees. As a mother comforts her child, so
I will comfort you; and you will be comforted over
    Jerusalem.'"(Isaiah 66:12,13 NIV)

Jesus said, "'Come to me all you who are weary and
heavy burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my
yoke and learn from Me for I am gentle and humble
in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.'"
    (Matthew 11:28-30 NIV)

You will find rest for your tired souls, nourish
your spirit and be refreshed in Jesus. Come and
find your spirits restored. Find Jesus, He is
waiting for you with open arms, all you need to
do is call upon His Name. You will be blessed
beyond measure as you are dandled on the knees
    of God.
