Do you know that most shampoos contain active ingredients that are used in the industrial field as engine degreaser and antifreeze. Also, there is a warning label on the back of your toothpaste telling you to call the poison control immediately if accidentally swallowed. This is because the chemicals in toothpaste, including fluoride, a known carcinogen, are so dangerous that four ounces of toothpaste can kill a small child. Talc, the main ingredient in baby powders, cosmetic powders and many makeup products, is a known carcinogen that is chemically very similar to asbestos.
There is over 800 toxic and potentially cancer-causing chemicals in virtually every cosmetic and personal care product on the market today. Currently, one out of every two persons (%50) will get some form of cancer in their lifetime. It is estimated that in the year 2030, one out of every one persons (%100) will get cancer in their life time.
These are very scary facts. Day after day we bombard our bodies with toxic and cancer-causing chemicals without even knowing it. We assume that the products we use on a daily basis are safe but this just isn't the case.

There is a lot more information out there on unsafe products. One website nottoopretty.com is an excellent resource to find out more about unsafe products and explains about the dangerous chemicals in the products.
Another website ineways.com/newmember is an excellent resource to find out about safe products that are non-toxic and do not cause cancer.

    Good luck, everybody!
