Does anyone know or know where I can find out--
I know this is stupid, but..

I would like to know the regulated dosage per day for Darvocet.

I don't want the reactions or side effects, just the maximum dosage.

My doc cut my presciption back, and before I call him on it, I would like to know the max I can get.

    Thank you

I found this on the web for you

These products are indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain, either when pain is present alone or when it is accompanied by fever.

These products are given orally. The usual dosage is 100 mg propoxyphene napsylate and 650 mg acetaminophen every 4 hours as needed for pain. The maximum recommended dose of propoxyphene napsylate is 600 mg per day.

Consideration should be given to a reduced total daily dosage in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.

I found this info on the following web site.

Thanks everyone. I finally found it too. My computer is so slow it takes forever.

No wonder doc cut it back from 8 a day. Must have had a revelation or something.

Doesn't do a whole lot, but must do a little, I keep taking them anyway.

I take more tylenol though or aspirin, kinda switch back & forth. I'm thinking if my liver goes, then I can go too. Just kidding kinda. I wouldn't be sad anyway.

    thanks loads
