i had a problem with me getting it a few years back...maybe she is not getting the proper anitbiootic for it///also i hate to say this but i will anyways but,

i figured out way i was getting them i husband at the time was having a sexual affair with at least one person...so i would get the bladder infection, yeast infection and bacterial infection...basiically he was dirty getting me dirty....

i don't know if that iw your daughters case and i know this is really personal....

but htey can giver her a prophalaxis...sexual postions can increase this as well and she needs to be extra careful and use a bacterial soap afterwards///

Have these actually been diagnosed as infections? Interstitial Cystitis shares many of the symptoms of bacterial cystitis, but the treatment is totally different.

I have to agree with Smiffy, it might be IC, I went back and forth for many years to doctors for what we thought was bladder infections but there was not bacterial infections, they finally sent to me an uro. who after doing numerous testing and a hydro/cysto found out this is what I have. It is not a fun thing to have. But once you are on the right kind of meds, diet, etc. you should be ok. (oh, stay away from the cranberry juice)

She has this way to often and it may not be bladder infection. I thought i was having bladder infections too, the last year year. I finally got into a urologist and he said I have IC. It is very painful and often mistaken for bladder infections. I was drinking cranberry juice and that was making me worse. I read on the IC site, its the worst think for intersistial cystitis.

she has been taking steroids and growth hormones for several months now.She had Cushings at age 18,usually a tumor at the base of the brain or it can be adrenal. She's not had to have any more treatment since she was about 20. She had been using a medical doctor for usual aliments. They did test her and told her it was bladder infections. Her medical doctor is updated on her return of Cushings symtoms. She sees a specialists in Nashville Tennessee for the Cushings thats why she has been taking the steroids and growth hormones.Do you think maybe the bladder thing is something to do with the meds she has been taking?I'm going to talk to the doctor about this tommorrow. Thanks for the responces.
