    Deck Of Cards

The deck of cards can be used as Bible let me show you how:
Ace- Reminds us that there is but one God.
Duece- Reminds us that the bible is divided into two parts:
    The Old and New Testaments
Trey- Reminds us of the Father,Son,and Holy Spirit.
Four- Reminds us of the 4 evangelists who preached the gospel: Matthew,Mark,Luke, and John.
Five- Reminds us of the 5 wise virgins who trimmed their Lamps. There were 10, 5 were wise and were saved,5 were foolish and were shut out.
Six-Reminds us that in 6 days God made this great heaven and earth.
Seven- Reminds us that on the 7th day God rested from his great work.
Eight- Reminds us of the 8 righteous persons God saved when He destroyed the earth, There was Noah, his wife, their 3 sons and their wives.
Nine- Reminds us of the Lepers our savior cleansed, and 9 of the 10 did not thank him.
Ten- Reminds us of the 10 commandments that God handed down to Moses on a table of stone.
King- Reminds us that there is but one King of Heaven,God Almighty.
Queen- Reminds us of the Blessed Virgin Mary who is Queen of Heaven.

When you count the number of spots on a deck of cards, you will find 365= the number of days in a year.
There is 52 cards, the number of weeks in a year
There is 4 suits, the number of weeks in a month
There is 12 picture cards, the number of months in a year
There is 13 Tricks, the number of weeks in a quarter.
So the deck of cards can serve as a bible,Almanac, and Prayer Book.
I hope you enjoy this little story, I certainly never thought of a deck of cards this way. But The Father sure works in a variety of ways doesn't he? Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all of you from me. The Lord will prevail again in the new year as he always does if we just let him in-- So simple isn't it? I think it is the easiest thing for one to do.
