    Hi all,
    OK, here is a doosy!
I went to the dentist this afternoon and he found FOUR cavities. He said that certain medications can cause that to happen. My last visit was only six months ago. Is that possible? Or could it be something in my body caused from the CFS/FMS?
I have never heard of this before and I have never had this problem before. I brush my teeth twice a day with mouthwash, plaque remover rinse, and I floss? I feel so gross and dirty!
If anyone has ANY info, I would greatly appreciate it.
    Best to all,

Most bacteria thrive in the mouth when there is less saliva to wash them into our digestive tracts where they are destroyed.

Also, changes in hormones can lead to gum disease and tooth decay. Pregnancy and menopause are prime times for this. Since our hormones are out of whack with these illnesses, this can also account for decay.

We need to be especially careful with oral hygeine.

    Love, Mikie
