I know it sounds like I am ungrateful, but I have been in a job that I have been very depressed and have anxiety over every day when I go to work. I need to keep working until I can find a new job - new environment, not cliquey people, and no cliquey management, health insurance benefits, etc. Can anyone give me hope? What would be the best thing that I do during lunch at work - job search? It can be really discouraging in this economy. I know that there is a place for me though, and I just need to find it. Has anyone ever been in this situation? What did you do during lunch. Did you just read/jobsearch? I just need hope to get me to that job that will be better filled with hope.

Welcome to the board. Sorry the job is depressing. I think the luckiest
people get to work at what they love. Most of us don't.

I've always found working is easier and less stressful than looking for
a job. I'd sure hate to be looking now.

What about the depression? Are you treating? Taking meds? 12 step
group? There is a depression board on this site; you might want to check
    it out.

    Good luck

I have provided some quick sites below to give you some help and print out some things and read them during lunch. Remember in interviewing that you have to come up with a good reason for leaving and don't want to talk negative about your current job.

Here is the site with many helpful hints: http://jobsearch.about.com/od/jobsearchtips/Job_Search_Tips.htm

Here are a group of videos to help you with your job search: http://www.google.com/search?hl=&q=tips+for+job+hunting&sourceid=navclient-ff&rlz=1B2RNFA_enUS272US328&ie=UTF-8&aq=0&oq=tips+#q=tips+for+job+hunting&hl=en&rlz=1B2RNFA_enUS272US328&prmd=ivnsu&source=univ&tbs=vid:1&tbo=u&ei=C7MjTZ7vA5G6sQONwKSYDw&sa=X&oi=video_result_group&ct=title&resnum=12&ved=0CIIBEKsEMAs&fp=3546717b9b9556d9
