    Hi

I was just wondering what is the difference between the above. I know that Acetyl L-Carnitine is more easily absorbed by the body. Does this mean that we are better off tking this.

This may sound like a dumb question but my brain not functioning very well this morning and I'm having difficulty with this.

If anyone can throw any light on this for me it would be much appreciated

    Thanks

The acetyl one is the stabilized version of the other one and is more absorbable and therefore more easily utilized by the body and better for the brain. ALC is the acetyl ester of the amino acid L-carnitine. ALC is absorbed into the bloodstream more efficiently than L-carnitine. It passes more easily through cell membranes, and is utilized more efficiently in the mitochondria of the cell.

    hope this helps
