I am driving myself crazy not working, and I need the money.

If I get a job, and make too much money, then I lose medicaid.

Then if I lose the job due to this DD, then I don't have medicaid anymore.

But if I manage to keep the job, I will make more money than I will get on disability.

But the disability lawyer wrote that I am incapable of any job.

So if I do get a job, and manage to keep it, then I won't qualify for disability.

And then if I lose the job due to this dd:

and on, and on, and on.

    Any ideas what to do?

    Thanks, Lillie

    the process.

I'm assuming that you haven't gotten disability yet, am I right? If you get disability, how much would you get? If that's personal, you don't have to answer.

What was your former profession? How long since you have worked? (you need to consider this because you will get back pay to six months after you last worked if you qualify for SSDI)

Does your family count on your income or is it only you?

Would you get insurance with your job? Any other benefits?

Could you start out part time?

Not being nosey - just want to get the facts before I put in my two cents.

I've been feeling better and considering trying to work. I go through the same things. I will lose my extra help with Medicare prescriptions - can't even count how much that would be - my prescriptions cost a ton. I will lose my state aid to pay for Medicare (about $100) and then I will lose food stamps ($63). I get to keep medicare for a while when I try to work but otherwise they don't make it easy.
