Finally!! My disability hearing has been scheduled for July 22nd!!! I am so relieved yet very scared-what if they deny me? What then? What would I do? Please pray for me and if anyone who has been through the hearing part can give me any insite into what to expect I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Your attorney and the judge will ask a series of questions,,,for example; if I were working today how would my disability affect my job? how long can I sit? stand? That kind of stuff. Your attorney should send you a packet of information dealing with what you should expect, oh, and how to dress. You will also meet with your attorney about 30 minutes prior to your hearing.

I had a very nice man for a judge and he understood that I would need to get up and move around, or that I might need to take a short break. But again your attorney has probably had many cases in front of your judge. He/she will advise you on the whole thing.

Good luck, I'm sure you will do just fine!
