Hi, I am attending college, I applied as a disable student because I have depression and GAD. Now,to go to the University I need to take the metro, but is really expencive for me. Disable people can get 50% off to ride the metro.

Does anyone knows where can I get the disable card? maybe the DMV? and what do I need? can people with depression and GAD get a disable card? and if I get this card does it affect me in any way? I dont know, maybe in finding a job?

    thank you so much.

Hi, I go to NYC for doctors visits and NJ Transit buses
sell tickets if you are disabled at $14.00 round trip.
Usually you need to be 62 to receive a fare cut, but I read their schedule and they do give a big discount if you are disabled. Regular trip is $31.00 round trip.
You may need to show ID, but they never asked me.

I do not know about the Metro card.
    best, meri
