I have found out today , sadly, that one, perhaps two of the people that others have requested prayer for, actually was a hoax...These two were pretty known to me, as I know them from the chat room and have spent considerable time with them,. These request did not come from them, but from other sources.. I admit, i am easily fooled, I am naive, but God knows all truth and I am thankful for that. I also believe it is a wonderful priviledge to go to God in prayer on behalf of others, and by Gods grace, will continue to do so. My chat friend, casper, though has a real problem and her post is true. I have prayed for the ones that somehow got a kick out of posting false information re; the health of the one that came forward to me tonight on chat and told that this was a hoax. That she was fine. So, I had prayer with my husband and we prayed for the person who posted the false illness post, unbeknown to the person posted...I am sorry for them..I am also sorry that we cannot believe all that we hear, but need Gods discernment. I pray for our moderators, that they will know the false from the true and I pray for those of us also that respond with our faith in God and His Son, Jesus. My husband had a word of scripture or me, after he heard my prayer, and that was this, " do not cast your pearls before swine". Strange, that I had been thinking that a couple of days ago myself. I felt it necessary to bring this to light. I am going to pray more about it, and be more careful. One day, perhaps, those that may think this is funny, or cute, will come to a saving knowledge of our Lord and repent and join us in prayer for others. God Bless; blessings

Do not allow anything like this to worry you. The Lord is well aware of those who need prayer, and those who do not.

He will always reveal those who try to do things like this.

You are right, they do need our prayers. Will be praying for them with you.

God bless you and your fine husband also for praying for all of us.

    Shalom, Shirl

Its good of you to come forward with this. I will continue to pray for people that ask for prayer here. We cannot know who is real and who is some fake, sick post.

However, this really disgusted me. We come here and give our time freely and we are sincere in wanting to help people. Its just not right that people come anywhere and make up false information on any of these boards and be allowed to stay here. They should go, and that`s my opinion.

Your going to lose prayer partners if this continues.

This is sad that a person or persons would do such a thing
and post a false need. But as Shirl said, The Lord will reveal these people and let us let the Lord work this issue in his time. Praise the Lord.

This will not discourage me from praying for anyone that posts a need for prayer.

    In Jesus name, amen

that someone would put false prayer requests on here, but it doesn't surprise me if you look at the state of the world. We are definately living in the last days, and soon there will be a day when EVERY knee shall bow and EVERY tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

That day is coming soon, and it is not up to us to say if the prayer request sounds false or not---but like said earlier, the important thing is that we have an ALL-KNOWING God who knows and will honor the prayers anyway. It really is sad that someone would get their kicks out of putting a false request here, and makes me think that that person is need of prayer even though the request they made is false. So I will lift up these people to the throne room of the Living God who knows their needs and leave it there.

So glad I found a place like this of "like minded", concerned Christians, and hope it does not get spoiled by people like that. God Bless, Carol

I am not surprised by this but saddened. There are some pretty sick people out there and anyone who would do this needs prayer. Imagine having nothing better to do than to waste one's time posting fake messages. That is pretty pathetic. I pray that they find a higher path to follow.

God will bless all of you who pray and He knows what is in everyone's heart. Please just know that your prayers are never wasted.

    Love, Mikie

Thank You for making us aware of what has happened on this board.

It is so upsetting to know that someone would post a false prayer request on this board.

But regardless of how things seem to appear on this board or anywhere else EVIL WILL NEVER STAND AGAINST GOD, BECAUSE EVIL HAS NO POWER AGAINST GOD.

I will continue to pray for all of the pray requests that are posted on this board.

Many Blessings to all of the Prayer Warriors on this board, Judy <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/17/17_1_22.gif' border=0></a>
