A friend told me she used one to get her glasses paid for but what about dental. She doesn't know. I need mine cleaned and worked on. Haven't been in a long time,I'm too scared. Since I've been reading lately about our health,I read that your dental problems can also affect your body in other ways. I know I should go but can't afford it. So anyone know of any programs that assist low income or no income

    Thanks,Keke

Check with your local dental school. Students training to be dentists need people to practice on, so there is little or no charge to have your teeth checked and fixed. The schools usually have some sort of clinic for this.

Dental schools are a great place to get routine dental care.

There may be a program or a dental clinic which offers services pro bono or on a sliding scale. As mentioned above, dental schools are a good place to start too.

I used to be Director of Fund Development for a clinic in CO which provided great services. We had staff docs and also interns from the local dental school.

    Good luck.
