    Hi All,

I'm really from CT/NY and have a great team of medical health care professionals here, but I have to be in Dallas a lot (have family there thank goodness) and have YET to find a decent doctor to give me a vitamin drip (I have the RX from my immunologist here in NY) or an acupuncturist who knows about FM and CFIDS/M.E.

Any suggestions? I've researched for a year and a disappointing...

Thanks in advance for any assistance!!

I'm on Medicare/Medicaid (makes things that much more difficult.)

Dallas/Ft. Worth has a large support group for CFIDS/FM. Perhaps if you looked them up, someone from that group could lead you in the right direction.

A little over a year and a half ago I contacted the D/FW CFIDS/M.E. support group, and they were as in the dark as I am. Most were paying out of pocket which I refuse to do since I'm so used to such great doctors here in NY/CT who DO take Medicare...I would've tried the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center if they took some sort of insurance, but since they don't take any insurance, a big, red flag went up for me...and I told them that!

    Thanks for responding... :)

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I've tried so many different sites, boards, etc., I'm going to just take a breather, but thanks for the suggestion. I'll give the arthritis board a shot. I have M.E. as well as FM, Lyme, etc. though. Seems it's "easier" to find a Fibro specialist over someone who knows about CFIDS/M.E.

    All the best,

for the doctor referral in Carrolton (sp?). lol I am applying for Para Transit which is transportation for those on disability as I had to ship my car back to CT (TX law states that one cannot have an out of state license plate for more than a month!! heard that one before!)...and they don't leave Dallas proper.

Nevertheless, thanks for the doctor's name as perhaps I can find someone to drive me there one day to get some information.

I appreciate you responding...My biggest concern is my M.E./CFIDS over the FM which is bad enough on its own. tragically ridiculous does that sound?!?!? :p

    Warm Regards,
