does .5 mg klonopin = 10 mg VALIUM?

I read this on another board by a very anti-klonopin poster. If this is so, then my own perception (and probably many of yours) is not true...that taking only .5 mg klonopin per evening is a "tiny" amount.

I'm not sure that I would drop this medication on that, as I have already accepted that this makes my life bearable...and I say this as a person who tried for 40 years to go it completely medication-free. But it DOES concern me. I know Chaney's theory and I find it plausible, but it is still just a theory.

Anyone know if the klonopin/valium equation is correct? 10 mg (not POINT 10) is an awful lot. Perhaps this person missed a period...the mathematical kind.
