i was just wondering what your experience was thanks charlen e
I used to see an osteopath once a fortnight when I lived in England and she was a huge help to me. I saw her for about 2 years. She helped relieve my headaches and general stiffness.
Unfortunately, now I live in South Africa, they don't seem to have any out here and I have got much worse in this last year since not seeing anyone.
I saw a different one once though and I couldn't walk after for one week so you have to pick the right one and explain to them to be gentle!
The osteopath I saw also did some stretches and acupuncture on me although the acupuncture nearly made me pass out as I could feel the shooting pain from the needles.
Osteopathy is definitely a treatment I would recommend if you can find a good one as they use a combination of physio, osteopathy and chiropracter so it was all good for me.
I'm goin gback to England in May so hopefully Ill be able to locate her whilst I'm there!
I think they're great-- but if you told me more about what you want to see one for, then I could give a more helpful answer, and also what you already know or think about them, so I don't assume too much.
Glad to talk about them with you anytime.
