demonstrate the problems in the brain...and if so, does it show significant damage...I have heard that an MRI SPECTOGRAPHY would indicate damage..is that accurate?

MRIs show lesions. SPECT scans supposedly show abnormalities in blood perfusion.

I need to reapply for SSD,and wondered if the tests show significant findings with significant damage that would influence the Social Security cases..

I HAD A MRI 4/00 AND IT STATED THAT THERE IS A VERY SMALL SOLITARY FOCAL AREA OF INCREASED SIGNAL INTENSITY PRESENT AT THE GRAY WHITE MATTER JUNCTION IN LEFT PARIETAL REGION. BUT IT WAS UNCERTAIN CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE. THEN IN 6\01 THE SIGNAL WAS STABLE AND STILL THERE. ONE NEURO THOUGHT IT WAS AN ARTIFACT BUT IT WAS STILL THERE AFTER 1 YEAR? I WOULD LOVE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS. THE PARIETAL REGION IS WHERE WE READ, WRITE AND UNDERSTAND. AND AT TIMES I HAVE THE BRAIN FOG!!! A LOT OF TIMES. BUT THE DOCTORS DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS OR ACKNOWLEDGE IT. ANY INFO ?????
