    Hello all

I have another question - so the best place to come is here!

My doc has prescribed Neurontin for pain, but while doing some research on the net, I found references stating that you should not take Mangesium as it blocks the receptor sites.

I've only just started taking Mg, but I've heard many on here get such good results with it, that I want to keep taking it.

I read somewhere else that you can take the Mg as long is its 2 hours away from the Neurontin.

Can anyone share their exeriences with this one?

    Take care, and thanks

    Hi Michelle,
Correct, you should not take Mag with neurontin. I usually take mine in the morn and afternoon. Altho, Mag works best at nite, but if your taking neurontin you can't do that.

Mag and neurontin use that same receptors.

    Okay, thanks

    I'm taking the Neurontin at 10am, 3pm and 8pm.

And I'll take the Mg at 5pm - does that sound ok?

Its getting hard to keep a schedule of all the things I need to take!

    Thanks all
