Does MSM make your pain worse?

That's been my experience. I've tried MSM several times (alone or with glucosamine), and each time my pain got dramatically worse. I keep hearing how good it is, and I wonder why it has the opposite effect on me.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

My sis would not be able to take that either because she is allergic to sulfa; that might be what is going on with you.

I keep reading that there is absolutely no relationship between sulfa and sulfur. I guess that's not true.

By the way, I'm not sure how my sulfa allergy manifests, but from what my parents told me about being given sulfa as a child, the reaction involved bizarre behavior. I guess I should be glad the only thing the MSM gave me was increased pain. :)

    Thanks!
