Doing little nice things can make a big difference!

    For me, I have 2 treats available at all times... Bubble bath and Yankee Candle tarts to make our ensuite and bathroom smell lovely.

    I also like to do easy projects (or let me say projects that look easy but weren't!).

    This weekend we went to the garden centre (Oh to have a Scooter for occasions like this (read schlepping around for hours).

    Anyways, they had a sempervivum terrarium there that they had made. Only £70!!!!! So I bought 2 sempervivum, had other plants (aloe and mother in laws tongue) and some crystals and pretty gravel. I made two... And as I had the bowl etc... Cost me £3!

    So you dood it yourself, as Red Skelton might have said. Looks like you
    saved a substantial amount, Alyssa. Good for you. Do the sempervivums
    come with a guarantee that they will keep the plants "ever alive"?

    Gordon is going to an orchid growers open house today. I 'spect he'll
    come home with several plants. You know how collectors are. Never
    can have too many.

    Try it again. Would love to see what you've done. I love semps.; used to have a large collection of them, over a hundred. Now I have them in large shallow terra-cotta pots and I ove them around at will. I only have about a dozen varieties left. My ME caused me to let go of a lot of plants thought. Still, I enjoy what I have!
