Has anyone on the board seen these specialists?

This is a follow-up to my last post.

i saw Dr Klimas a few years ago, and i still stay in touch with her from time to time. she is in Miami and i am in Massachusetts so i just speak with her on the phone from time to time.

she has her own lab, and is able to do very sophisticated immune system testing right there. she was able to confirm that i had immune function problems, which for me made the trip worth it. in addition to the fact that she is about as nice a person as you are going to meet.

there still are very few treatments, but she is on the fornt lines and might have something new to try. i haven't spoken with her for a while.

i can give you more info on her if you are interested.

as far as Dr Peterson. i know he is in Nevada and has focused in the past on the HHV-6A virus and the Ampligen trials. i haven't seen him, but i do have his contact info if you would like it.

was my Dr.s colleague and they worked out of the same office. I was seeing Dr. Deborah Robinson who was absolutely wonderful with fibromyalgia patients because she had fibromyalgia. They worked in conjuctiion with each other in setting up patient and community FM awareness. They held workshops occasionally. I heard many good Things about Dr. Bateman. My doc Dr. Deborah Robinson tragically died in a scuba diving accident around 2 years ago. It was devastating. I drove from Ogden to Salt Lake and as miserable as it was, it was worth the trip. After Dr. Robinson died, Dr. Bateman took on a lot of her patients but finally we were told to find someone else. I think she is now accepting some new patients of Dr. Robinson's. If I can answer any other questions please let me know. LuAnn.
