As I'm having a bad day today, my husband called and got me into the dr's for this afternoon. All I thought he was going to do was up my pain meds as I'm having a really bad flair up again! But fortunately he wants to see me......I'm assuming because of the right shoulder and arm and now bad tummy aches and neck pain. I know him quite well and know he will probably start ordering some tests to rule out other problems. If he were to order a mri or ct scan would that be benefiful or helpful to rule out other problems as well? It seems like alot of money but it might be worth it if they can find another cause beside the Fibro?/!!!

Can anybody help me on this one before my apt at 3:00 est? I really don't like those machines one bit!!!LOL!!! And every part of my body just hurts so bad...YUCK!!
    Thank you all in advance~~~
    Gentle hugs,
    Shelby

I have had chronic shoulder, neck pain and lower back problems. I had MRI's done and they found that both areas look like much older persons. I turn 50 next week.

Go for it. You might have something else, which is also causing pain.

Oh, I read your question again, and see your appointment was earlier.

Please let us know what you found out!
