I've never taken drenamin, but I have taken Drenatrophin PMG by Standard Process and Cytozyme AD by Biotics. Both have bovine adrenal extract, and both helped me a lot with my adrenals. I don't know if they carry the potential for mad cow disease, but my adrenals were so weak, and these helped so much, I decided not to worry about it.

I came across this post when I was researching whether or not Drenamin has gluten. Got a call back from Standard Process today (9/10/12), who stated that their product does indeed test beyond the 20ppm threshold that triggers a reactions in gluten sensitive/intolerant folks.
