Does anyone get exausted after driving for a long distance?
I'm pretty new to the board and am trying to figure out what triggers my pain and tiredness the most...

Seems like after I drive too much...even if im having a good day and almost pain free...the next day if feels like
    i've been swimming laps!

It seems strange...driving isn't that physical?

Anyone else have this problem or know why it might be bothering me?
    Thanks for any help...

I had that problem until I bought a Lincoln Town Car and made sure that I got out to walk every couple hours or so. It seems to help.

Driving for more than a few minutes is exhausting for me. It is all the concentrating!!!!!!

My body is also really stiff and so shoulder checks etc are painful! Just holding my hands in the position to hold the steering wheel for long periods of time is really hard on the neck and shoulders!

I know that driving should be easy but when you think about it at least when there is a lot of traffic you are doing a lot of multi tasking which we aren't very good at.

You are concentrating on driving your own car, watching all the other cars around you, plus having to REMEMBER why you got in the car in the first place! LOL

Too much for a FM/CFS brain!!!!!!
