Waiting in long lines at the mall
to get this year's must-have toy
    for your kid,
    at retail or above prices?

The National Toy Hall of Fame at the Strong Museum in Rochester, N.Y., has inducted one of the most cherished toys of childhood into its collection ....the plain old cardboard box.

"I think every adult has had that disillusioning experience of picking what they think is a wonderful toy for a child, and then finding the kid playing with the box," explained Christopher Bensch, chief curator at Strong.

"It's that empty box full of possibilities that the kids can sense and the adults don't always see."

I agree Victoria! I still had the box out from my artifical tree when the grandkids came over. They are 2 and 5. That box went from train to boat to ten, elevator, when it was on end lol they had so much fun and imagination it was a joy to see. I told them I should return the gifts I bought and just get them some boxes. The 5 year old was very quick to disagree lol
Are you from Rochester? I live in Hilton, just northwest of Rochester.
Merry Cheristmas and God bless you and yours.
