I've just been watching videos and photos of so many of the great buildings and monuments worldwide turning off their lights. From the Eiffel Tower, to the Pyramids, The Sidney Opera House, city after city.Restaurants just using candlelight, parties and celebratiions - over 80 countries participating. To gather together to support the environment, and bolster awareness of climate change.

Just to see the world united in this peaceful demonstration was awesome!

My husband and I, in our small way, will be using candlelight from 8:30 - 9:30 p.m tonight.

How many of us here did turn out the lights for earth hour. God made this beautiful home for us, we have not respected it in the past. We need to now, desperately!

    Hugs,

Yes, we need to do everything that we can, desperately and hopefully to heal our planet, protect animals and environments. Lessen our thoughtless greediness, and overconsumption! Find clean fuels. Every action and self-awareness helps.

I was so heartened by this worldwide gesture. Oh, how good it felt to be part of the whole world.
