    Hi All,

I found this great website about educating our doctors on CFS. I found the link on Dr. Lapp's website. He was a co-author.

Check it out. It even goes into detail about how applying for disability can be traumatic for us.

    http://www.cfids.org/treatcfs/default.asp

And, if you click on Health Care Professionals Tools and Resources, then Assessment Tools, you will find a list of screening tools that they use to assess disability.

Including Dr. Bell's CFS Disability Scale and Dr. Lapp's Subjective Funtional Capacity Assessment Tool.

    Hugs ... marcia

    Marcia, what a great site!

I have saved it in my Favorites, and also forwarded little samples along with the link to every health care provider I know.

    Thanks!

You are right!! This is a very informational website. I have several FMS and CFIDS websites saved in my "favorites" folder. It's like having an informational health library. I'm always on the lookout for good websites. I will definitely add this one to my "library".

    Thanks again.

    Blessings,
