Does FM cause an elevated CRP level? I thought it didn't cause inflammation. Any ideas?

My CRP is highly elevated, has been since CFS/FM . My sed-rate and Rheumy Panel is negative for RA, Arthritis etc. So even though they say it dosn't cause inflammation I do feel somehow it is related.

I also have an elevated ANA but Lupus has been ruled out. My CRP is 22 and ANA 1:160 and no known cause oher than FM/CFS unless they are missing something which is highly possible.

four years ago; my wonderful dr. then (since deceased) told me I was in great danger from a HA or stroke because of it.

My new dr. has never mentioned it to me; I take antioxidants and baby aspiring daily, that's all I know to do. New dr. has probably never bothered to read my records or labs: what else is new?

my ruemy if he'll run the high sensitivity test. I know I have FM but nobody has ever mentioned ME/CFS. How would I know if I have that?
