I am looking for an article on this topic for pain control. I know I read an article about it in May, 2002, but cannot find it anywhere.
Anyone out there know anything about it? Does it really work?

I use a product called Emu Rub, it helps a little. Not a lot, though.

I don't know alot about it, though my MIL raves about it.
Her best friend owns a farm & they manerfacture Emu produce including Emu Oil.
MIL has been trying to get me into using it forever, but as of yet I haven't used it.
Hope that you find the info you are after.

Do they have any topical concoctions?

I have used a bengay type of ointment that contains glucosamine & chondroiton, menthol smell, I put in on my neck or lower back & then apply the ol' heating pad, works wonders.

Do not know about the emu thing,, heard of it but have not tried it.

Too many snake oils out there.

I got some cream gel at a fair called "Blue Max" It has Emu oil in it along with glucosamine, msm, and a lot of other herbal extract oils in it. It also has some mentyl in it and smells like vicks. It really works. It has soothed my neck, arms, and shoulders so much. I don't know where you could buy it though and it is expensive, $20. a jar.

for us is called Blue Emu Super strength pharmacetical grade useing Johnson's Emu oil. manufactured by NFI dietary suppliments. We have tried many others but, they burned and didn't work well at all. This is the best we have found. We've tried all the rubs, creams, sprays. We got our pharmacy to order it and they sold out before we got our 2 jars. Now they reserve 2 a monthe for us. It will turn your hand a bit blue so wear a rubber glove.

    Good luck, Kim and Gary

I tried Blue Stuff,(not Super Blue stuff tho). It helped ,but PK5 works like a miracle for me. Just before leaving for the ER during my first SEVERE attack, I tried PK5.Didn't expect much. But .. in 5 minutes I was up and walking-PAINFREE.
I was stunned! Then I Took some Ibuprfin just to cover all the bases. Walgreens Drugstores and Osco carry it(in Chicago area). Look up walgreens or PK5.on internet. You roll it on, then rub it in. Hope you'll try it Themarce. Sincerely,Jim B.
PS It seems to have a healing affect after using it for a while.
