Entire lymph system is in pain - how common in Fibromyalgia?

I decided to try a lymphatic drainage specialist since I went to a body exhibit at a museum and
saw a layout of our lymph systems and realized "Hey, I hurt like mad in those areas!". The lymph worker has had a million hours of training and seen all types of people. Anyways, she told me that this lymph pain that I have is highly unusual UNLESS there is either a virus or bacterial infection going on. For example, my groin area hurts so bad, I can barely stand it.
She said soft tissue is usually involved with fibromyalgia and maybe minor lymph but not like what I have. How many of you have full body lymph pain? I am beginning to think fibromyalgia in me is secondary to something else. This is crazy. My lymph is so congested! Thanks

you are probably on to something. i bet your lymph system IS clogged up. certainly could be infections involved. would not surprise me one bit.

i have cfs (no fibro) and have had blood tests for infections (ebv, hhv6) results showed very very very high antibody titers which mean bad past infection and possible ongoing infection. i have had the swollen painful lymph nodes in groin area (boy does that feel odd) and also in torso. yuck. i asked my cfs specialist and she said yes it is most likely due to infections.

there is alot of info on "general" help w congested lymph systems on internet. things supposed to help get it moving- are gentle rhythmic exercise like walking, mini tramp bouncing, and swimming. and deep breathing. probably some supplements are supposed to help but i cant remember which ones - sorry!

i wanted to get a lymph massage but was too chicken. what was it like? can you describe your experience during, and anything you noticed after. maybe you have to get several massages?

i think this is a big clue for you about your fm, or maybe you also have cfs. are you tired or exhausted most of the time? or is pain the only problem?

    good luck!

This is similar to the releif I got from my healer when he unblocked my kidney meridian. He also found my lymphs all enflammed and clogged. I had excrutiating leg pain and aches. But since my kidney meridian got unblocked... my legs are fantastic! I can stand and walk again. (Although I'm still cautious and take it easy with the walking and I sit whenever possible...my legs may feel better, but the rest of my Fibro and Adrenal insufficient body still gets tired if I overdue it.)

I felt very toxic and dizzy after session with heart racing even though it is rather gentle. It is just amazing how painful the lymph system is. I just don't know how common this is for fibromyalgia people? Could a past virus be causing the lymph system to swell or hold on to toxins? I have only had 2 treatments and on about day 2, felt better for a few hours. I think I am super toxic. I think certain people cannot take modern day toxins, which are everywhere, and we get sick from it. When I was in CA, I got to the point where I literally couldn't take the smog anymore. Get up on any hill out there and look down...it is a brown soup. Amazing people breathe that junk.

How do you feel now that you have gone through the detox?
