I wonder if anyone else has this. I have floaters in both eyes. I thought that maybe they could be related to my diabetes, but they are different than my mother's, whose are related to diabetes. Mine aren't black. They kind of sparkle, yellow and purple. Drives me crazy! They are just off center so I can't "focus" on them. Anyone?

I have floater's but mine are black.

Eye doc said it is protien floating around. It get's annoying when I am looking at a light colored wall, like at the doctor's office.

I wish I could get rid of them, but I guess I'm stuck.

Not sure why your's are colorful, have you asked your eye doc?

Everyone has floaters, some just have more than others. I have a really large 'rainbow coloured' floater in one eye.

I have alot of other eye symptoms, double vision, ghosting, black spots, photosensitivity, weak muscles... But the optometrist told me that the floaters are normal.

They are just hardened pieces of the ??? jelly type stuff in our eyes. We get more as we get older too ;)
