When ever i walk over my carpet and slightly slide i feel a sort of tingle and falling sensation like im falling.
Is this just static electric doing something or is this something else?

    Hi Carrot

Welcome to the Board. Orange you glad you came? I never heard of static electric causing the
feeling you describe. It is more likely to give you a small shock if you touch something made of
metal. This, I read, is due to the surplus electrons you picked up from the rug jumping to the
    doorknob or whatever.

Can you ask your doctor? Maybe call the office and ask someone to see if the doc thinks you
need to come in for a visit.

Note: I don't want to be negative, but I am not positive my response is correct.

This also happens on hard surfaces.
For example, when you slide down 1 step.
