    Good start, GB.

Tallulah Bankhead, actress. More successful on stage than in movies. Came from
a political family; related to Senators, etc. Was on the Lucy show when Lucy was
    dressed in armor.

    Terry Bradshaw, pro football player.

    Terri Garr, actress; Tootsie.

Torsten Ralf, Swedish tenor; sang at the Met.

    Toti Fields, comedian.

Thomas Paine, wrote the pamphlet Common Sense.

Tab Hunter, actor, singer and teen heart throb back in the 50s.

Tex Ritter, movie cowboy and singer. Big hit with The Wayward Wind.
    Father of John.

Thelma Ritter, character actor. Rear Window.

Tommy Tune, dancer, singer, choreographer, etc. At last count had won
    ten Emmys.

Tullio Serafin, Italian conductor. Made lotsa opera recordings.

Temple Houston, son of Sam. Colorful character; attorney in Texas
    and Oklahoma.

Hope the above "suits you to a T". I read the origin of this phrase is uncertain.
I always figured it had to do with a T square which is used to make drawings

Well, Kids, we got lottsa "T's". I kinda doubt we'll have many "U's". I can only think
    of three so far.

Ulysses S. Grant nee Hiram Ulysses Grant. (In other words, the "S" stood for
nothing.) Commander of the Union Forces; subsequently President.

Umberto Giordano, Italian opera composer. Wrote one very popular opera, one
not so popular, but still performed now and then, and a dozen others that are
    almost never heard of.

Upton Sinclair, prolific American author. Pulitzer Prize winner. Died when
I was in third grade. His most famous book was probably "The Jungle" which
was an expose of the meat packing business. ("Expose" needs a mark over the
    final "e".)

I thought of another "U", but it's a fictional character. Well, Shucks!
Gordon, however, thought of a "U" actress.

You just reminded me. Me and hub watched her in one of his James Bond DVDs a few days ago.

Ursula Andress. My favorite Bond girl. In the first Sean Connery 007 movie 'Dr. No'. Her voice was dubbed in.

Also two from my crossword puzzles.

Ushser Terry Raymond IV Singer (Usher). The only other one I thought of was Uma Thurmon, (Patti has her.) Not very many "U" people. Maybe Uncle Sam, Uncle Tom and Uncle Remus! :)

Could we post last names starting with 'U' like we did on one of the others?

    Hi Kids

Hadn't though of Thor Heyerdahl for decades, GB. I read his book Kon Tiki when
I was a teen. Read a couple others decades later. Somebody is selling the
book Kon Tiki on Amazon. According to the ad, the book was published in
1851. Oughta be worth a bundle.

Patti, I remember when Valerie Bertinelli was on One Day At A Time about
a century ago. Now she's on that new show with Betty White which I like, but
I only see it be chance. She's certainly kept her looks better as I. And yes, it
was Ursula Andress I thought of.

    OK, V's:

Alexandrina Victoria, aka Queen Victoria, ceremonial ruler of some little island.

Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov aka Lenin. Ruler of some really big country.

Victor Emmanuel, the first King of the United Italy, 19th century.

Vivian Vance, won an Emmy. Thanked Lucille Ball as the "best second
    banana in the business".

Vincenzo Bellini, 19th century opera composer. His operas are still sung
today. They need a soprano with a high voice and the ability to sing
with agility. Singers like Lilly Pons and Beverly Sills.

Vernon Dahlart, who sang a little opera, but became famous as the
first country western singer with a million seller. Dahlart recorded
using different names and for various record companies. His biggest
hit was The Prisoner's Song in the mid 1920's.

Valerie Harper, star of stage, screen and television. Most famous as
Rhoda on the MTM show. She has been in poor health the last
    several years.

I told Gordon we were doing the "V's". Asked if could think of a
    famous Vernon. He said, "Mount".

Diane, I remember when Tom Selleck was new on the scene; or on the
screen. One of the secretaries in the office had an 6 x 10 picture of
him on the wall. She was in her 50s. She said, "My daughter says I'm
acting like a teenager. I told her I could be acting a lot worse if I
    put my mind to it."
